We are searching, on behalf of our client, a custom equipment production facility located just west of the GTA, for an experienced Machine Assembler Fitter. This position is for an Assembler with production experience in fit-up and fine adjustments, who enjoys working with their hands, self-motivated, attentive to detail, and takes pride in achieving performance excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex mechanical and electrical assemblies with precision
- Install and adjust impellers, shafts, gearboxes, and bushings
- Complete fit-up, welding, grinding, deburring, and polishing operations
- Interpret assembly drawings, work orders, and technical documentation
- Use inspection gauges and maintain accurate inspection records
- Identify and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
- Complete standardized documentation and inspection reports
- Operate hand and power tools, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Collaborate with multiple departments to support efficient operations
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Training:- Advanced Math, including geometry and trigonometry
- Previous Certification Forklift and Overhead Crane
- TSSA Certified Carbon and Stainless is an asset
- CWB Welding certificate is an asset
- Technical School Diploma, Trade Certificate or Equivalent Certificate of Qualifications
- OSSD High School Diploma or GED required

- Knowledge of both manual and electrical tools
- Familiarity with Duplex, Ni-hard, Alloy 20 is a plus
- Minimum 3 years with rotary equipment and complex assemblies
Working Conditions:- Hours of operation: 6:00am to 2:30pm or 2:30pm to 11:00pm
