About the Role:

As an Account Coordinator on our US School Success team you will play a pivotal role in ensuring uninterrupted student learning and exceptional service for schools and educators. You will manage urgent morning-of requests support educator placements and proactively identify opportunities to grow Zens presence in schools.

A key part of this role is relationship-building across the board with school partners newly onboarded and active educators and internal teams. You will guide educators through their onboarding journey ensuring they meet key milestones feel supported and are set up for long-term success while working with Zen.

This is a fast-paced high-volume role that requires strategic thinking proactive problem-solving and strong interpersonal skills.


What Youll Be Doing:
Morning Requests & Absence Management
- Serve as the primary contact for urgent morning-of requests and educator absences.
- Manage the end-to-end process from initial notification to confirmed placement.
- Build and maintain relationships with school staff and educators to ensure smooth and timely coverage.

Relationship Building & Opportunity Identification
- Develop strong trust-based relationships with schools educators (including newly onboarded ones) and internal teams.
- Identify opportunities to secure additional coverage days and enhance school partnerships.

Educator Support & Activation
- Guide newly onboarded educators through their educator journey ensuring key milestones are met.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to help educators feel confident and successful in their roles.
- Collect feedback troubleshoot issues and optimize engagement and retention.
- Maintain strong relationships with active educators to promote repeat placements.

Account Manager Handoff & Internal Collaboration
- Provide daily updates to Account Managers on follow-up items and accomplishments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoffs and effective implementation of solutions.

School Partner Support & Growth
- Provide responsive support for all school stakeholders.
Contribute to growth efforts by supporting the creation of paraprofessional and teacher roles.
- Assist in upselling Zen products and services where appropriate.
Share insights from schools and educators with the Product team to drive platform improvements.

What Were Looking For:
- Must be able to think quickly on your feet with minimal direction to make decisions.
- Ability to identify gaps in our current platform and provide actionable feedback to the Product team.
- Comfortable analyzing data and reporting to become a territory expert offering insights facts and ideas for growth.
- Experience working on strategic projects that enhance DS team processes and growth.
- Strong relationship-building skills with schools educators (including newly onboarded) and internal teams.
- A coachable resilient self-starter who thrives on feedback and enjoys solving challenges creatively.
- Positive empathetic and customer-focused with a genuine passion for education and social impact.
- Experience in sales partnerships account management recruitment or education is a plus.
