Working one-on-one with foundational and post-secondary learners, including those with experience of disability and those who have English as an additional language, Learning Support Specialists support the academic progress of learners by compassionately meeting them where they are at and collaborating with Instructional Faculty and the broader student services team to ensure wrap-around academic support.

Learning Support Specialists work with students via multiple delivery channels, including drop-in tutoring and academic coaching, coaching appointments through a Habits for Success program, and coaching appointments for students referred by Accessibility (Disability) Services. You will have the opportunity to learn new curriculum, experiment with varied approaches to supporting learners, as well as the opportunity to innovate, as we transform our services to meet the college’s strategic goals and work towards our commitment to Indigenization, decolonization and becoming an anti-racist organization.
