HFCRD is recruiting a Temporary Full-time Educational Assistant starting as soon as a suitable candidate is found - June 26 2026 with the possibility of extension at Holy Family School Grimshaw Alberta.

Job Description :

Education Assistants are employed by the Division to support teachers in meeting the needs of students in their classrooms. An Education Assistant may be assigned to work with individual students or groups of students under the direct supervision of a teacher.

The ideal candidate will also have a good working knowledge and understanding of Indigenous culture to help promote cultural awareness and appreciation within the school. The role also focuses on building positive relationships with Indigenous students to support their academic social and emotional wellbeing.

Duties will include :

• Work with students with learning physical and / or behavioral challenges one-to-one small group and classroom duties.
• Duties may include working with students who require attending to health needs and personal care.
• The assignment includes working with students in the classroom supporting student academics and individualized learning needs tutorial help support for English Language Learners and other Educational Assistant duties as assigned.
