We are seeking a skilled and experienced AV and Endpoint Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing technical support for audio visual equipment in meeting rooms, as well as experience with endpoint management and troubleshooting. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities :
AV Support : Research the best possible AV solution and provide recommendations for various use cases.
Assist with the design and setup of new meeting room AV installations.
Provide technical support for meeting room AV equipment, including projectors, displays, audio systems, video conferencing solutions, and control systems.
Troubleshoot AV issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions.
Coordinate with facilities management, construction teams and designers for new rooms implementation. Conduct regular maintenance and testing of AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Provide real-time technical assistance for key video conferencing events
Interact as required with AV vendors for specification, deployment, and support activities
Provide field support as needed
Endpoint Support : Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Deploy and configure new endpoint devices.
Manage and maintain endpoint security.
Provide field support as needed
AV Technology / Infrastructure Expertise : Experience with specifying, deploying, and supporting various AV systems including : Google Meet video conferencing platform.
Knowledge of other video conferencing platforms such as MS Teams and Zoom
Logitech hardware (webcams, headsets, conference room systems).
Other AV solutions such as Crestron, Mersive, BrightSign, and Barco.
Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service to end-users, responding promptly to requests and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical users.
Other Duties : Maintain accurate documentation of AV and endpoint configurations and support activities.
Stay up-to-date on emerging AV and endpoint technologies.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of AV and endpoint solutions.
