Position Overview

Autodesk Platform Service and Emerging Technology team is looking for talents to work on customer facing AI projects. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and product AI features

Hands on MCP tools to integrate AI solutions into product workflows

Collaborate with the AI Platform team to leverage shared infrastructure, tools, and services

Experiment with large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-modal AI techniques to build intelligent applications

Develop prototypes to validate ideas and drive them into production-ready solutions

Document findings, share best practices, and contribute to AI knowledge sharing across other groups

Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of AI features in production.

Own full engineering cycle including designing, prototyping, coding, validating, deployment, and troubleshooting

Establish strong partnership and collaborate effectively with engineering teams worldwide with concise communication, strong commitment and win-win mindset

Develop tools to boost development like automated testing, performance monitoring, resiliency analysis, etc

Share and bring best practice into the team / product; promote best practice / achievement to engineering community

Leading technical discussion and design cross global teams

Mentoring and leading junior members to contribute on project goals

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor in Computer Engineering with 8+ years working experience or equivalent MS

Require excellent experience in AI such as AI agent, MCP, LLM

Excellent programing skills with Python, Java

Rich AI system design experience

Excellent analytical capability and fast-learning ability

Excellent knowledge about AWS services or similar core services from other providers

Good leadership, communication and teamwork

Comprehensive technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, implementation, automation tests and deployment

Fluent English communication

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in data scientist is a plus

Successfully completed one or more commercial AI software development cycles is a plus

Advanced expert role, requiring deep subject-matter knowledge and sound business acumen to advise leaders

For jobs at this level, knowledge of the business starts to become as important as subject-matter knowledge

Incumbents translate specialized subject-matter requirements into business needs / requirements

Require depth of specialized expertise to interpret internal / external business issues and recommend best practices to address them

Solve complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors by taking a broad perspective to identify the best approach and innovative solutions

Work independently, with close guidance in only the most complex or unusual situations

Adapt communication style to persuade various stakeholders across the business and frequently interact with senior leaders to provide advice and SME

May lead functional teams or programs within own function (or closely related functions)
