Group Summary :

The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities :

The Industrial Engineering Student will support the Engineering team in maintaining and improving the company's physical infrastructure. This role involves assisting with the planning, design, and implementation of facility projects, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks. The student will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of facilities engineering, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation.

• Please note this is a 1 year fixed contract term. Only students currently enrolled in a Co-Op Program with their post secondary school will be considered.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Assist in Future business launches (Extrusion, IMM)

2. Design / implement changes to work cell layouts using AutoCAD for all departments.

3. Work with contractors in managing / planning new projects for building modifications. Ensure Documents are up to date w / H&S.

4. Ensure and promote all safety standards, safe operating procedures, all safety issues conforming to the OHSA

5. Map and 5S assistance with Bolton & Basaltic Facility

6. Major Project participation.
