YOUR ROLE:As an legal assistant in trademarks litigation, you will be involved in challenging cases related to this area. Your responsibilities will include:Prepare the proceedings and file them with the Federal Court;Track and ensure compliance with deadlines;Prepare and file trademark correspondence and related documents with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO);Process applications for expungement of trademarks with the Registrar;Communicate with clients to follow up on their cases. REQUIRED SKILLS:DVS in Secretarial Studies or any other equivalent training;Experience in litigation, trademarks an asset;Good level of French and English, spoken and written;Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite;Proactivity, analytical skills and attention to detail;Sense of organization and excellent customer service.
