Overview

This is an interview position.

Responsibilities

  • To provide accurate information and assistance to customers requiring direct customer interface.
  • To perform administrative duties necessary for efficient operations.
  • Promotes continued sales and generating potential incremental revenue wherever possible.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma/equivalent. College diploma preferred.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Customs regulations preferred.
  • Knowledge of FedEx Express and Ground products and services preferred.
  • Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training.
  • Must have the ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
  • Must be able to complete and achieve minimum thresholds on any mandatory testing and training.
  • Must be able to operate in a PC Windows environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle stress and work in a highly pressured, monitored and changing work environment.

Additional Notes

  • Québec bilingual requirement: French and English.
  • Seasonal part-time CSR positions: Sunday to Thursday with 15:30-20:30 weekdays, and 12:00 start on Sundays.
  • Must meet driving eligibility criteria for positions where driving is a fundamental skill (valid license and limited infractions/accidents in past 24 months); evaluation includes annual driving record, interview performance, and driving assessments.

Les titulaires au Québec doivent être bilingues (français et anglais). En plus des critères habituels de sélection, les candidats aux postes exigeant la conduite comme compétence fondamentale doivent détenir un permis valide (ex. classe 5, G ou 1[AZ]) et présenter un dossier ne comportant pas plus de deux infractions et/ou accidents dans les 24 mois précédant la candidature. Les candidats seront également évalués selon : 1) leur relevé annuel de conduite ; 2) leur performance en entrevue ; et 3) leurs résultats aux évaluations de conduite administrées.
