Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Software Engineer, located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Software Engineer will contribute to software design, development, and maintenance to support business operations and energy solutions. Responsibilities include developing and optimizing back-end systems, implementing programming best practices, debugging software, and participating in code reviews. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Software Engineer will be a vital part of designing and delivering innovative technical projects aligned with the company’s objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science concepts
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• Experience with Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, on-site team environment
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to coding and debugging
• Familiarity with the energy sector and electrical systems is an asset
