Description du poste En tant qu Ingénieur Système Senior vous serez le garant de la stabilité de la performance et de lintégration du moteur dexécution (runtime) de lavatar sur iOS . Votre succès reposera sur la capacité du système à orchestrer simultanément la parole la vision et lanimation de manière fluide.

Responsabilités :

Architecture : Faire évoluer larchitecture existante composée de services Swift de bibliothèques C et de lintégration Unreal Engine.

Optimisation : Profiler et optimiser lutilisation du CPU GPU de lANE (Apple Neural Engine) et de lénergie via Apple Instruments.

Intégration ML : Intégrer les composants dIA sur lappareil (suivi du visage inférence VLM diarisation du locuteur ASR).

Fiabilité Temps Réel : Diagnostiquer et résoudre les problèmes critiques (latence audio chutes de cadres blocages danimation).

Robustesse : Assurer la stabilité du système lors dune utilisation prolongée (conception always-on ).

The company is reimagining the human-machine interface for the healthcare sector (specifically elderly care) by developing a real-time empathic conversational avatar for iPad. This complex system integrates audio vision local Machine Learning (ML) and Cloud AI rendered via Unreal Engine using high-fidelity digital humans. The challenge : maintaining an "always-on" system that remains performant and reliable despite strict memory and thermal constraints.

Job Description As a Senior Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the stability performance and integration of the avatars runtime engine on iOS . Your success will be measured by the systems ability to run speech vision and animation simultaneously and seamlessly.

Responsibilities :

Architecture Ownership : Evolve the existing architecture consisting of Swift services C libraries and Unreal Engine integration.

High-Level Optimization : Profile and optimize CPU GPU ANE (Apple Neural Engine) and power consumption using Apple Instruments.

ML Integration : Integrate on-device AI components (face tracking VLM inference speaker diarization ASR).

Real-Time Reliability : Diagnose and resolve critical issues (audio latency frame drops animation freezes).

Robustness : Ensure system stability during prolonged use ("always-on" design).

Profil

Expertise iOS & C : Maîtrise avancée de Swift et C particulièrement pour les systèmes à haute performance.

Développement Mobile : Expérience concrète dans la livraison dapplications iOS intégrant des composants natifs en C.

Connaissance Matérielle : Excellente compréhension de larchitecture Apple Silicon et du runtime iOS.

Unreal Engine : Capacité à intervenir au niveau de lintégration C dans Unreal Engine.

Outils : Maîtrise des outils de profilage (Instruments) pour loptimisation mobile.

Atouts :

Expérience avec Core ML Apple Vision ou linférence ML sur mobile.

Expérience dans les systèmes audio / vidéo en temps réel.

Capacité à concevoir des SDK pour dautres équipes techniques.

iOS & C Expertise : Advanced proficiency in Swift and C specifically for performance-critical systems.

Mobile Development : Proven experience in shipping iOS applications that integrate native C components.

Hardware Knowledge : Deep understanding of Apple Silicon architecture and iOS runtime behavior.

Unreal Engine : Ability to work at the C integration level within Unreal Engine.

Tools : Mastery of profiling tools (Instruments) for mobile performance optimization.

Nice-to-Have :

Experience with Core ML Apple Vision or on-device ML inference.

Experience with real-time audio / video systems.

Ability to design SDKs for other technical teams.
