Job description

Are you looking for an opportunity that provides you with a steady working opportunity? If you are a reliable individual with experience in a warehouse as a General Labourer orhave experience lumping (palletizing), are detailed, focused, and committed, then we may have an opportunity for you.Reporting to theLogistics Recruitment Supervisor / Account Manager, the General Labourer / Lumper position requires regular bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing and pulling as well as lifting up to 20- 40 pounds throughout the shift. Shift Timings : Afternoon Shift (3PM – 11PM) 5 Times a week Location : Whitby, ON Salary : $ 1 7 . 20 hr plus a Bonus incentive ($4 dollars extra for every hour worked when certain conditions are met). Bonus incentive max is $160 per week . You will be paid each Friday for previous week’s work. Date of assignment start : Starting November 3rd, 2024 WHAT YOU DO :

Open and empty containers
Palletize products
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping pallet area and workstations tidy,
Any other general warehouse duties as required.

Qualification and Requirements

Problem solver with excellent organizational skills.

Effective in communication.

Able to work efficiently as a team player and be able to work under minimal supervision.

The ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to bend, climb stairs, and carry items weighing 25-50 pounds is required.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Willing to take a criminal background check.
