What is the Opportunity?
Reporting to the Director of Operations for The RCM Certificate Program, the Manager, Examinations Delivery is responsible and accountable for leading the planning and the day-to day supervision of the logistics process that enables the administration of examinations. This includes in person and remote, practical and theory examinations conducted throughout the year in Canada, the U.S. and other international centers.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Operations / Logistics Planning and Execution
- Establishes the annual session dates for Practical and theory examinations in collaboration with other stakeholders (Marketing, Academic Office, Finance, IT)
- Manages the design of all RCME in-person session routes to ensure the efficient operation of examination centres while complying with key pedagogical and logistical standards as well as lead the decision process for specialist routes
- Oversees the Assignment in-person examiners
- Oversees examiner logistics for in-person exams to allow for efficient examiner travel and accommodations while adjudicating
- Ensures emergency assistance to examiners and center representatives during exam sessions
- Supervises material provision for both practical and theory exams to center representatives and examiners
- Identifies operational risk and implements process improvements
- Oversees the receipt and processing of all theory and practical materials from examination sessions including timely release of marks and issuance of certificates
- Supervises the verification process for all medals and convocation
- Supervises the provision of all materials to Centre Representatives and Examiners for executing theory and practical examinations in all sessions
- Coordinates resolutions to service quality enquiries with candidate services personnel
- Supervises the monitoring of day-to-day remote exams activity and troubleshooting as well as the provision of timely assistance to examiners
- Documents all procedures and maintains procedures manual for activities covered above
Relationship Management
Monitors trends and negotiates preferred rates with key travel and accommodations suppliersLiaises with the College of Examiners to continually improve communication of logistical organizational initiativesLiaises closely with lT, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, and Candidate Services with reference to issues directly impacting examsParticipates in formulating Operations / Logistics related policies and procedures in conjunction with these partnersStaff Management
Recruits, engages, and retains qualified employeesOversees and directs the daily workflow, including ongoing projects and makes necessary adjustments to prioritiesManages and evaluates performance; provides training and coaching as requiredProvides a safe and healthy work environment and ensures work is completed in compliance with The Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations and the RCM's policiesPerforms other duties as required
