Senior Software Engineer – AI Platform

Location : Burnaby, BC

Work Model : Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Compensation : $199,900 Per Year

We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer (AI Platform) to join a team supporting a major Canadian gaming organization in the Vancouver area . This role sits at the core of how AI and machine learning are built, deployed, and scaled across live products.

This is not a game-feature engineering position. You’ll be part of the AI Platform team , responsible for the shared systems that power AI across the organization. Game teams, ML engineers, and data scientists rely on this platform to bring AI-driven experiences into production safely and reliably.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and evolving cloud-native AI platform services used across multiple teams
• Supporting the full AI lifecycle, including data ingestion, model deployment, real-time inference, and monitoring
• Owning production ML infrastructure with a focus on reliability, performance, and observability
• Partnering closely with ML engineers and game teams to operationalize models in live systems
• Improving CI / CD and automation for AI and ML workloads
• Contributing to architecture decisions that shape the long-term direction of the platform
• Mentoring engineers and helping set platform best practices
