Senior Systems Analyst

We are looking to contract the services of a Senior Systems Analyst to assist in the detailed analysis, development, testing and maintenance of solutions in support of a large government project. Must have a valid security clearance at minimum Reliability.

Tasks

Tasks and deliverables include but are not limited to :

• Participating in all aspects of systems design, analysis and implementation of a large legacy System and / or development projects;
• Convert a large legacy Java Swing desktop application into a modern scalable z web application;
• Develop Restful service APIs in Java and possess a strong knowledge with J2EE, EJB, XML;
• Design and develop Angular components across the web platform;
• Analyzing and participating in the creation and gathering of business requirements;

Contribute to process improvements, design and implementation strategies to aid in a timely delivery of a web application.

Adhering to quality assurance standards in each phase of development and performing checks on their own work as well as the work of others.

Preparing the system for releases (production and lower states) and coordinating all changes with impacted partners; and
