Job summary : The candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently managing the billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, processing payments, and resolving billing inquiries. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and generate invoices for clients / customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
- Verify billing data and reconcile accounts.
- Process payments received from clients / customers in the WASH / NOSTRO, ensuring accurate posting to the appropriate accounts.
- Prepare funds transfer memo & seek FX contracts (if needed) in order to effect payments out to branches / third party banks.
- Track outstanding fees and follow up on unpaid items.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of billing transactions and client / customer accounts.
Profil
Candidate criteria
Minimal education level required : High school / Secondary school / A levels / AS levels / IBRequired : English language. French language skills would be a plus.Experience : 1-2 years of experience in a similar role would be preferred, but not mandatory.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Letter of Credit and SWIFT knowledge would be preferableKnowledge of Syndications loans would be beneficialOther mandatory soft skills :
