Transport Refrigeration Technician

Transport Refrigeration Mechanic – up to $44.49 / hr & up to $4.93 / hr pension

Permanent, full-time role; day-time schedule (8 to 4 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday)

What will you be doing?

Work on-site at the mechanic shop located in Coquitlam, B.C. during training period, with eventual transition to mobile technician servicing clients throughout Lower Mainland, B.C.

Service, maintain and repair truck / trailer reefer units, air conditioning equipment, container refrigeration units and Gensets.

Install Reefer units

Ensure all work is completed to TKBC standards

Deliver Exceptional Customer Service to clients

Participate in the on call service rotation (Mobile technician) as required

What do you bring to this role?

Prior experience in automotive, heavy duty, or refrigeration transportation mechanics.

Red Seal certification is an asset, but not required.

Positive, Team Player attitude

Ability to adapt and think quickly on feet.

Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC / air conditioning is preferred.
