Node.js Developer

Role : Node.js Developer

Location : Halifax, NS (4 Days Onsite per Week)

Duration : 6+ Months Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer with 3 5 years of professional software development experience and a strong track record of delivering high-quality, scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in backend development, modern frameworks, and secure application design.

Key Requirements

3 5 years of hands-on experience in software development with successful project delivery.

Strong experience in Java development , including frameworks such as Spring Boot and Spring Framework , along with a solid understanding of JVM performance optimization.

Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript , with experience building scalable server-side applications and RESTful APIs.

Experience working with MongoDB , including database design, query optimization, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning.

Good understanding of software architecture principles, security best practices (OAuth, SSO), and secure coding standards.

Experience with Git , CI / CD pipelines, and modern development practices.

Exposure to data masking techniques .

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.

Experience using Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence .
