Within our Insurance and Actuarial Advisory Services (IAAS) group, the Senior Actuarial Consultant will work on multiple client engagement teams that perform actuarial audit work, valuation and pricing analysis, model building and validation, cash flow testing, and related life insurance actuarial projects. You will receive on-the-job training to acquire practical experience in addressing technical / business issues and in applying EY policies / procedures on client engagements. This position offers opportunities for learning, teaming, leadership, and career advancement.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Applying actuarial knowledge and experience in life and health insurance to enable the delivery of actuarial and broader insurance projects (e.g., model validation, peer review, audit, pricing, due diligence).
• Developing individual capabilities, monitoring developments in life insurance actuarial practice, mentoring junior team members, and sharing knowledge with the team.
• Developing actuarial models for clients or for use in project delivery.
• Building, converting and / or validating AXIS models, working solo or as part of a larger team.
• Contributing to team success through peer review, knowledge sharing, being proactive and assertive, and mentoring junior staff.
• Willingness and ability to travel, when necessary.
