Chuffed.org is a global crowdfunding platform powering the world’s biggest social justice movements. We’ve helped raise over $170M across 35,000 campaigns in 23 countries — and we’re just getting started.

In the last year we’ve grown 4x and become the go-to platform for activists and organizations in two of the biggest social justice movements of our times; Palestine and climate justice.

We’re now hiring a Movement Strategy Lead to help us win our next major movement - and the one after that.

🔥 About the Role

You’ll be the bridge between Chuffed and the activists, campaigners and organizers leading the most pressing social justice fights in the world.

Your goal? Embed us deeply in our next focus movement - so we’re not just supporting campaigns, we’re powering entire ecosystems of change.

Here’s what you’ll do :

• Identify and connect with prominent organizers, influencers and grassroots leaders in our next focus movement (e.g., trans rights, First Nations, animal liberation, immigrant / refugee justice).
• Build long-term, trust-based relationships with campaigners learning about their big challenges, collaborating on solutions and ultimately, helping them to launch powerful fundraising campaigns on Chuffed.
• Lean on these newly built relationships to secure warm intros within new networks and communities , helping us connect with, and support, even more organizers within the movement.
• Spot rapid-response opportunities when moments break (e.g., protests, arrests, raids, disasters, government actions) and quickly help campaigners get fundraising campaigns live - sometimes within hours.
• Refine and amplify Chuffed’s values-led messaging helping to shape and spread the message that Chuffed is the only crowdfunding platform built exclusively for social justice movements, encouraging more aligned campaigners to join Chuffed.
• Be the voice of our focus movements internally . You’ll have a front-row seat to what the biggest social justice campaigns actually need to win. You’ll take those insights straight to our product team, helping to shape the tools and features that power these movements globally.
• Support campaigners post-launch , connecting them with the Chuffed Amplify team who can help get their campaigns in front of our powerful community of Chuffed donors.

In every movement, the large, topical campaigns are the ones that fuel the growth of smaller ones. Those major campaigns don’t just land by luck - they come through deep relationships built in advance. That’s what this role is all about; being so embedded in the movement that we’re ready when the big moments break.
