Paralegal - Litigation and Corporate Law This is a great opportunity for a paralegal looking to put their skills to use in a law firm located in the heart of downtown. You will also have the option of working part-time if you wish. You will join a team of passionate professionals working in litigation and corporate law. You will be called upon to collaborate on a variety of challenging cases within a friendly and dynamic team. YOUR ROLE:Your responsibilities will include:Conduct legal research in various databases (Soquij, Land Registry, CanLii);Draft and produce litigation procedures;Manage litigation deadlines, perform calculations, and enter them in the calendar;Maintain various legal documents for several corporate clients on an annual basis;Perform due diligence checks of minute books and make any necessary adjustments, etc.;Maintain the company's corporate files, including preparing resolutions and annual reports, as well as federal, provincial, and extra-provincial filings;Conduct various research, consult databases (case law, doctrine, legislation, court records, etc.) and prepare research reports. SKILLS REQUIRED:DCS or ACS in Paralegal Technology or other relevant training;Relevant experience in a law firm in litigation and corporate law;Good command of French and English;Strong organizational skills and excellent management of priorities;Ability to work as part of a team and cultivate good interpersonal relations.
