Forklift Driver

Staffmax is actively recruiting a certified and experienced Forklift Driver for a 6-month contract with our valued client. This role offers a stable, long-term opportunity within a reputable and safety-focused organization.

Contract Length: 6 Months
Location: Vancouver, BC

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate various types of forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, or dockstocker based on site requirements)

• Load and unload materials from trailers, containers, and storage areas

• Transport inventory efficiently throughout warehouse or production spaces

• Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any mechanical concerns

• Adhere to warehouse safety protocols and maintain accurate handling documentation

• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift certification (theory and practical training required)

• Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting

• Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures

• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
