Biotech Scientist – Nanobiosensor Developer

Location : Brampton, Ontario

Duration : 4–12 months

Level : Undergraduate / Master’s (Co-op) Term : Fall 2025 Intake (Sept–Dec or extendable to Jan)

About the Role :

Join our biotechnology team to create biological interfaces for nano-scale gas and liquid biosensors. You’ll work in wet labs and contribute to real-world testing and validation.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and apply biological materials on sensor surfaces

Conduct chemical assays and testing protocols

Record biological reactions to gas / liquid exposure

Analyze test results for performance optimization

Collaborate on interdisciplinary sensor development

Core Skills :

Wet lab and bioscience lab experience

Knowledge of biosensor surface chemistry

Handling pipettes, reagents, lab safety tools

Data collection and analysis

Soft Skills :

Research curiosity and experimental rigor

Precision and care in biological handling

Clear reporting and teamwork

Open-mindedness to multidisciplinary input
