Opportunity
We are hiring an Intermediate Civil Engineer. In this role you’ll help deliver impactful industrial civil engineering projects—from conceptual design to construction—while collaborating with a tight‑knit team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists. Candidates will work out of our Thunder Bay or Sudbury, Ontario offices.
Your Impact
- Design site plans including grading, earthworks, water distribution, site services, access roads, stormwater and wastewater systems.
- Develop, verify, and finalize technical deliverables (drawings, specifications, reports, engineering calculations).
- Review and verify the technical quality, accuracy, and compliance of project deliverables.
- Conduct site reviews and provide construction-phase technical support.
- Prepare permit applications and supporting documentation.
- Contribute to proposal development, including fee estimates and technical inputs.
- Support project management activities to help ensure schedules and budgets are met.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of project and client needs.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5–10 years of civil design and site planning experience in a consulting engineering environment.
- Experience in heavy industrial or mining-sector projects.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Must be a Licensed P.Eng in Ontario or eligible for registration in a Canadian province.
- Eligible for federal security clearance.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; experience with Visual OTTHYMO, Pix4D, or Revit is an asset.
- Ability to adapt to changing project priorities and collaborate across disciplines.
- Valid G‑class driver’s licence.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 – $102,500
MB & ON: $70,600 – $97,200
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $69,900 – $92,900
