Job Description

CEDA is currently seeking 20 Labourers for Vale Properties at our Sudbury, ON location! If you’re looking for a company that will give you the opportunity to

on pieces of equipment like vacuum trucks and high pressure water jetting units, apply today!

What We Offer : $23 - $30 per hour

plus CEDA

Monday – Sunday local staged

opportunity at various mining operations plus adhoc work within Ontario as needed.

Shift work will be required,

typical shifts will be 7-7 AM or PM

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

Assist with the operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools

Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor intensive capacity

Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your back

Ensure safety for all team members and property

Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision

Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment

Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment

Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documents

Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time

Other duties as assigned

Role Specifications

Valid Class G driver’s license with no more than 5 demerits in the last two years

1+ years experience in an industrial environment is an asset but not required

Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Ability to travel throughout Ontario (flexibility in scheduling is required)

Skills :

Strong mechanical aptitude

You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment

Experience and comfort with confined spaces

Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)

Comfortable with the use of additional respiratory equipment and air supply; wearing a full face mask and carrying your own source of oxygen

You’re happiest working in a team, sharing a laugh with your coworkers and getting the job done safely
