Job descriptionEntering PO Requisitions Work Order Transactions Sorting Jobs / Attaching Drawings Maintain a check on material inventories, machine and labour capacities, and other factors pertinent to ensure an even flow of production. Assist with maintaining order status records and preparing reports and summaries. May assist others engaged in production department functions. Assist other department supervisors regarding the shop floor. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs with a specialization in Excel. Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role is highly desired. Experience with ERP software is considered an asset. Strong attention to detail and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment. The ability to be responsive and have strong customer service skills when communicating with team members. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Excellent written, communication, and negotiation skills. Experience in the manufacturing industry / environment is considered an asset. We’re looking for a Production Administrator to join our dynamic team and make a significant impact.
Role Overview
As a Production Administrator, you’ll support the manufacturing floor by performing various assigned duties of a somewhat diversified nature in connection with the preparation and issuance of production work orders to the manufacturing departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain sufficient proficiency with the company ERP software to execute the required tasks.
- Maintain miscellaneous production records and produce various production reports.
- Perform routine clerical work in accordance with specified procedures and instructions, which can include :
