Position Title

Job Type & Schedule

Permanent, full‑time (part‑time also available)

Schedule : 8 : 00‑4 : 30 Monday‑Friday (hybrid; on‑site and work‑from‑home days determined)

Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality mental health care for patients with a wide range of conditions, including return‑to‑work, trauma, and substance misuse.

Responsibilities

Provide formal assessment and diagnostic services (e.g., MMPI‑3, PAI) to support treatment planning and workforce suitability.

Deliver individual treatment for anxiety, trauma, depression, somatic complaints, substance misuse, adjustment and interpersonal issues.

Consult with physiotherapy, occupational therapy and other mental health team members.

Leverage digital therapeutics and innovative approaches to mental health services.

Contribute to in‑house training sessions and interdisciplinary case discussions.

Education and Licensure

Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university.

Current registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners (adult clinical competency). Trauma training required.

Professional liability insurance required at time of employment.

Certifications in C‑PT, CBT, EMDR and other evidence‑based treatments highly desired.

Experience

At least 2 years of clinical experience working with adults on return‑to‑work (preferred).

Experience conducting psychological assessments for treatment planning.

Additional Abilities

Proficiency in English; proficiency in French a strong asset.
