Overview

Job title : Red Seal Carpenter

Location : Moncton, NB

Shifts : Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Wage : $20.00 / hour-$23.00 / hour

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and codes; perform layout and material calculations
Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, floors, walls, roofs, trim, doors, and windows
Renovate, repair, and maintain structural components; inspect work and document findings
Operate and maintain hand and power tools, equipment, scaffolding, and lifting devices
Mentor apprentices and support crew coordination on site
Promote and enforce workplace safety, use PPE, and perform jobsite hazard assessments

Qualifications

Valid Red Seal Carpentry certification

Completion of a 3- to 4-year apprenticeship or equivalent experience

Proficiency with blueprints, building codes, and construction math (metric / imperial)

Skilled in hand and power tool operation and related equipment

Strong physical fitness : able to lift approximately 50 lb, work at heights, and adapt to varied environments

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

Valid driver's license for travel to multiple job sites
