In this role, you will provide critical analytical and technical support to our consulting team, helping deliver high-quality advisory services to clients. You'll work with complex data from multiple sources, conduct detailed analysis on investments and plan design, and support the preparation of client deliverables including reports, presentations, and governance assessments. You'll collaborate with senior consultants, internal colleagues, and external service providers to ensure our clients receive exceptional service. What you'll do
Liaise with internal colleagues and external service providers to support client deliverables and obtain necessary information
Support all types of analysis related to services provided including plan reviews, vendor searches, investment fund lineup reviews, investment performance monitoring, manager searches, plan design and benchmarking analysis, and governance and compliance assessments
Aggregate complex data efficiently from different sources, prepare and peer review data reconciliations, and conduct checks to ensure accuracy of data or analysis
Prepare investment monitoring reports including relevant capital market and manager commentaries
Synthesize analysis results for client presentations, reports, and other communications
Support in the development and maintenance of proprietary databases and tools
Take a supporting role in client meetings and take minutes where required
Support national and internal initiatives and participate in national and regional team meetings
Support with client billings and tracking profit/loss metrics
Build knowledge of industry topics and trends
You have
University degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong professional acumen
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a collaborative team player
Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing assignments
Strong work ethic demonstrating both initiative and independence
An excellent understanding of software, particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Nice to Have
Prior knowledge and/or experience working with CAP or DC plans, including understanding of plan administration, accumulation and decumulation processes, principles of good governance, applicable legislation, and best practices
Ability to read and interpret plan texts, regulation, and guidance notes
Understanding of investments and investment principles, best practices for analysis of CAP investments, and fund managers and their products
Ability to interpret plan design provisions, understand factors impacting retirement outcomes, and support with retirement income projections
Understanding of basic principles for managing survey and comparative data, and carrying out market benchmarking analysis
Experience with pension plan administration and/or speaking with pension plan members and/or plan sponsors
Project management experience or qualification
CFA or Actuarial qualification, or a good track record in examinations
Advanced MS Excel skills
Life license
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000
Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
