You will be joining a Canadian real estatepany that has been developing, acquiring, and managing properties for over 30 years. They focus on creating strong, sustainablemunities across Canada. They’re one of the largest developers of rental housing in Canada, with properties in the Greater Toronto Area, Metropolitan Vancouver, and Victoria, British Columbia.

Your new role

You will actively seek out prospective tenants. You will guide potential renters on tours of available units, showcasing the property’s features. You will perform background checks, credit assessments, and other evaluations to determine if prospective renters meet the qualifications. You will prepare leasing documents for potential renters, ensuringpliance with property standards and regulations. Maintain a rapport with current tenants, providing personalized service and addressing their needs.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of the Employment Standards Act, strong oral and writtenmunication skills, and proficiency inputer applications including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Yardi. They demonstrate effective leadership and coaching abilities, can manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines, and are required to maintain a clear criminal record and credit check.
