Electro-mechanical Assembler (Production Technician)

This role is based in Quanser’s Production Facility in Markham, Ontario (near Hwy 7 and Hwy 404), with day-shift equivalent hours, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

During the first 6 months of employment, the selected candidate will receive electro-mechanical assembly training on our complex systems. The training covers products, production assembly techniques, and the production team’s workflows. After successful completion, the candidate will operate and maintain production equipment, monitor quality control standards, and help ensure that production goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production equipment on the assembly line.
• Monitor quality control standards and ensure production goals are met.
• Participate in a six-month training program covering products, assembly techniques, and workflows.
• Follow assembly drawings, schematics, manuals, and BOMs to complete electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area and adhere to safety and quality procedures.
• Use Microsoft Office tools to document and communicate as needed.
