Role: Mainframe Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Mainframe Developer with 6 8 years of hands-on experience.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Mainframe development

• Good working knowledge of COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2

• Experience with Unix scripting

• Familiar with Agile methodology

• Good understanding of the Cards domain (Issuing side)

• Knowledge of the end-to-end card lifecycle

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications

• Fix defects and provide support during testing cycles

• Handle the complete software development lifecycle (requirements to deployment)

• Review code and ensure quality standards are followed

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in mainframe systems

• Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation

• Identify risks and suggest improvements

• Support release management activities

• Optimize system performance and efficiency

• Provide guidance and technical support to team members
