WHAT WE BELIEVEWe believe in inclusion, we believe in self-expression, we believe in no judgement and we believe in individualism.WHO WE AREWe are bold, we are tenacious, we are courageous and brave.We are a cast of characters;We embrace our differences and we share our likenesses.As a Technical Designer, you are responsible for interpreting all ideas into detailed sketches with all applicable information to ensure intended execution of the style.Some of What You'll Do : Interpret ideas and sketches provided by designers into clear and precise 2D technical drawings.Create and maintain Tech Pack with accurate Bill of Materials (BOM). Ensure samples are accurately produced at every stage of the sample life cycle.Work closely with fit & spec, patternmakers to ensure sketch represents the pattern, the desired fit and accurate construction.Primary point of contact between design and factories.Review and validate each style prior to attending Fit Meetings and document any changes and / or revisionsEstablish and document clear visual representations of our quality and construction standards as neededDeliver completed tasks on time at each stage of the development process, take initiative when required as well as demonstrate flexibility as neededSome of What You'll Need : 2-5 years of working experience within an Outwear Development Role or related positionDec in Fashion Design or equivalentTechnical Design experience in outerwear is preferredKnowledge of garment construction is requiredUnderstanding fabric types, structure and use is an assetSome of Who You Are : Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator is requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCreative, adaptive and broad mindedDetail oriented, meticulous with strong organization skillsStrong time management and multitasking skillsAbility to work as a team and maintain a high level of professionalismMoose Knuckles is a Canadian company headquartered in Montreal and operating in North America, Europe and Asia. Professional French language proficiency is therefore required and essential for all Montreal-based employees. In addition, the professional English proficiency is also important since it allows to collaborate with the employees of the group based internationally.
