Les équipes de souscription d’AIG aident à trouver des solutions d’assurance dans des secteurs tels que les produits financiers, l’assurance des biens, l’assurance responsabilité, les risques spécialisés, l’assurance contre les cyber-risques, les clients multinationaux et les produits d’assurance pour les particuliers fortunés. Nous réimaginons constamment notre façon d’aider nos clients à gérer les risques, en transformant notre modèle opérationnel et en restructurant nos responsabilités et nos parcours professionnels. Nous visons à réaliser le plein potentiel de chaque collègue - en donnant à nos collaborateurs les moyens de se perfectionner en tant que professionnels de l’assurance et d’offrir une plus grande valeur à nos clients et à AIG.

Production et souscription des différents produits offerts par le service de responsabilité civile. Maximiser la rentabilité (par exemple tarification, conservation, avenants, limite d’assurance, indemnisation) en tenant compte de tous les facteurs inhérents au dossier.

Comment vous créerez un impact

• Production et souscription rentable de nouvelles affaires et de renouvellements.

• Évaluation des risques et élaboration de solutions de souscription, travailler conjointement avec les actuaires si nécessaire.

• Révision et analyse des garanties de police et de l’expérience de sinistres.

• S’assurer que les dossiers sont bien documentés et respectent les normes et protocoles établies.

• Maintenir la profitabilité du portfolio d’affaire.

• Préparer des demandes d’approbation (si nécessaire), préparation de soumissions et confirmation de garanties.

• Effectuer des activités de marketing, développer les lignes d’affaire ciblées

• Gestion des relations d’affaires auprès des courtiers, clients et gestionnaires de risques

• Développer des solutions avec d'autres divisions sur les nouvelles opportunités d'affaires et de renouvellement.

• Peut nécessiter des voyages occasionnels pour soutenir les relations d’affaires avec les courtiers et clients.

• Travailler avec nos différents centres de service.

Ce qu’il vous faut pour réussir

• Scolarité Cégep ou Université un atout
• Parfaitement bilingue en anglais et en français (requis au Québec seulement).
• Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite
• Sens accru de l’organisation, de la gestion du temps, avoir de bonnes qualités de présentateur et de négociateur.
• Habileté à gérer adéquatement le volume de travail, surtout pendant les périodes très achalandées et lors de délais serrés.
• Attention soutenue à maintenir une diligence appropriée et le respect de la conformité dans tous les dossiers.

International Casualty Underwriter

This Underwriter role will be an ideal next step in your career if you already have some relevant experience in insurance – or this could be your entry into underwriting if you have transferable skills.

AIG underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals. How you will create an impact

• This role will focus on underwriting new and renewal business to help drive the profitable growth of our Admitted Casualty.
• Production and underwriting of profitable new and renewal business.
• Complete rating tool, apply risk judgment, and work with actuaries if required.
• Review of policy coverage, claims experience and deal structure analysis.
• Ensure files are well documented and comply with corporate standards.
• Maintain profitability of book of business.
• Prepare referrals (when required), quote letters and bind letters.
• Perform marketing activities, grow target business
• Relationship management including servicing of brokers, clients and risk managers
• Develop underwriting solutions with other divisions on new business and renewal opportunities
• May require occasional travel to support broker and client relationship
• Work with center of excellence and / or shared services on policy administration.
• Resolve accounting inquiries, month end verification in liaison with center of excellence and shared services on premium coding
• Assist claims department with requests on file documentation.

What you’ll need to succeed

• College and/or University degree an asset
• Fluent in French is considered an asset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, presentation and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage work load effectively, especially during times of high activity and tight time lines
• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines, as well as in a team oriented approach to accomplish branch results
