Junior Business Analyst

We are looking for an entry level Business Analyst to join our team in Markham, Ontario, and contribute to the success of our non-profit organization. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business needs, develop solutions, and support decision-making processes. Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
• Perform gap analyses to identify areas for improvement in existing processes and systems.
• Utilize tools such as Atlassian Jira and CRM platforms to track project progress and manage workflows.
• Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to support project objectives.
• Conduct AB testing and analyze results to provide actionable insights.
• Assist in the preparation and formatting of reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of Agile Scrum practices.
• Support the team in creating and maintaining accurate project documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Administrative Studies, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in an analytical role, ideally within a childcare or educational organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, formatting, and basic formulas.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and CRM platforms.
• Strong understanding of gap analysis and ability to identify areas for improvement.
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and their application.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with stakeholders.
