Field Service Technician/Team Lead

Our client, a cleaning product manufacturer and cleaning equipment provider, is looking for a Field Service Technician/Team Leader, (60% in the field in Greater Montreal).

• Provide diagnostics and repairs to various equipment such as scrubbers, high-pressure cleaners, parts washers, industrial vacuum cleaners, etc.
• Repair and perform preventive maintenance in the workshop and on the road at institutional clients (hospitals, universities, etc.), industrial clients (food, pharmaceutical, heavy industry, etc.), commercial clients (recreation centers, shopping centers, etc.).
• Prepare demonstration equipment before the sale, support the sales team, start-up of equipment sold at customer premises and occasional advice in the showroom;
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service team;
• Supervise technicians.

Requirements:

• DEP in Electromechanics or similar;
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a field service technician or electromechanic in a similar industry or experience with forklifts, commercial dishwashers or commercial/industrial laundry;
• 2 years of experience as a team leader;
• Experience with electronics and electrical plans;
• Ability to diagnose and correct mechanical and electrical problems;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Vehicle provided
• French, functional English.
