We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our Chemical Analysis team. The ideal candidate will have experience in analytical testing, be highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Position will be based in our Cambridge, ON location. Salary range : CA$25.00–CA$30.00 / hr based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and test materials following clearly defined procedures.
• Perform chemical testing as per ASTM or other published standards.
• Prepare samples for chemical analysis according to lab procedures.
• Operate and calibrate ICP-OES spectrometers, Leco combustion analyzers, and other lab equipment.
• Conduct basic maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Record and report results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure all instruments, tools, equipment, and computers are maintained, calibrated, and in good working condition.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized laboratory and testing area.
• Keep accurate equipment files including datasheets, maintenance logs, and calibration records.
• Follow laboratory work orders and instructions, providing results in a timely manner.
