What is the Opportunity

AUE is seeking a Project Coordinator to support telecom infrastructure builds through design coordination constructability reviews and permitting oversight. Youll collaborate with engineering and field teams manage technical documentation and contribute to quality assurance across fiber network deployments.

What Youll Do Here

• Track design packages for submission to the client and collaborate with document controllers for their timely delivery.

• Communicate any delays in the design schedule proactively and find solutions to mitigate; keep track of all delays and associated claims with design consultants.

• Coordinate with Clients document control team any design package submission or comments receipt delays.

• Coordinate design review comments between Construction and Performance Teams (CRM process) to the Designers and ensure closeout of comments in the design packages.

• Collect information on a weekly and monthly basis for updating the progress reports.

• Coordinating design quality aspects with the team and help preparing for design quality audits with QA/QC.

• Collaborate with Design Team Lead for the learning moments gathered from past projects with regards to optimising design coordination internally within the team and externally.

• Enhance delivery process of all packages to Client.

• Respond effectively to Designers enquiries/requests in efforts to support design process.

• Assist design team to proceed on time as planned.

• Process bills and invoices based on the milestones of the associated contract.

• Possible travel may be required.

What You Bring to the Team

• Post secondary education in Civil Engineering Electrical Engineering or Architectural program is considered an asset.

• A minimum of two years coordinating hydro telecommunications or gas utility works is considered a strong asset.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD software and experience customizing AutoCAD scripts tools and Menus is an asset.

• Familiarity with billing and invoicing processes is considered an asset.

• Maintain a valid provincial drivers license in good standing.

• Adequate knowledge of various construction disciplines safety regulations scheduling cost control quality control engineering drawings and other documents

• Proficient with the use of computers software including MS Office (Word Excel).

• Strong organizational and planning skills.

• Superior interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal contexts

• Ability to assume responsibility interface and communicate with others a must.

• Excellent safety and attendance record and previously demonstrated strong safety awareness

Compensation Range : The expected salary for this position is $50000 - $75000 annually . Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location education experience and unique skills.
