Senior HR and Labor Relations Specialist

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources and working closely with the Operations leadership team at our Cornwall manufacturing facility, you will oversee day‑to‑day HR and Labour Relations activities. Your responsibilities will include handling investigations, supporting talent acquisition, ensuring policy adherence, managing employee relations, and contributing to performance management, providing comprehensive support to employees across various HR functions.

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary education in Human Resources; CHRP designation or working toward it is considered an asset.
• 5–10 years of specialized HR / LR experience in a hands‑on HR role.
• Experience within a unionized manufacturing environment .
• Strong knowledge of Employment Standards , Human Rights , and Labour legislation.
• Solid business acumen.
• Excellent communication and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Results‑driven, proactive, and possessing strong interpersonal skills.
• Highly collaborative, with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
• Strong professionalism, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Salary : $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
