In this role, you will play an integral role towards supporting clients who are leaving their employer plan by encouraging them to consult with licensed representatives who can detail insurance solutions relevant to their unique situations.
As an Insurance Associate (IA) :
You are a team player who enjoys encouraging our clients become better informed of their financial stability as they go through a career transition. You are a solution oriented, strong communicator, who uses active listening to understand clients unique situations and highlight the importance of receiving professional advice. As a member of the Client Solutions Centre (CSC) you will benefit from our culture of coaching and support; through motivational and inspirational leadership your Rollover Sales Manager will empower you to make a difference in our clients’ lives.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, Client Solutions you will :
Proactively make calls to Group Benefits clients who are leaving their employer and looking to find solutions to satisfy their life insurance, critical illness and health and dental needs
Encourage the importance for member to understand conversion rights and review financial security with a licensed representative
Maintain a large pipeline of clients to ensure members are contacted in a timely fashion
Introduce clients to a Sun Life Advisor to assist with an identified need for holistic financial advice
Foster and participate in a work environment that values people, invites creativity, and celebrates learning
Stay informed of departmental and industry product, policy, and procedure changes
Contribute to the CSC's ongoing success by sharing feedback and providing insights that will help to improve our client experience
Required skills :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build credibility and rapport
Preferred experience within an outbound or blended call centre
Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide.
Unique requitrement :
You will have to complete your LLQP license within a 3 months time frame of being hired
