Business Analyst - SAP Finance & Systems Support

Our client is an innovative leader at the intersection of renewable energy and technology. This role can be based in Vancouver, BC or Dallas, Texas, where the team is rapidly growing. North American operations are headquartered in Vancouver, with global headquarters overseas.

What- the Role:

On behalf of our client, SWIM is searching for an experienced self-motivated, intelligent, adaptable, and dynamic Business Analyst – SAP Finance & Procurement who will act as a liaison between Finance, Operations, IT and global business units, ensuring system alignment with business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide day-to-day support for SAP Finance and Procurement modules and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in collaboration with end-users.
• Collaborate across departments to implement, configure, and maintain SAP and expense management systems (Concur).
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
• Support project delivery, including requirements gathering, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and system documentation.
• Monitor SAP system performance and coordinate with technical teams on issue resolution and improvements.
• Contribute to long-term system development, including integration with People & Culture and Operations systems.
• Play an active role in global transformation projects, ensuring Finance and Operations processes scale effectively.

• Experience: 3-5+ years as a Business Analyst (or Financial System Analyst) with hands-on SAP Finance and Procurement modules exposure.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of business operations, particularly Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Compliance: Experience in a SOX-controlled environment considered an asset.
• Collaboration: Ability to influence stakeholders across geographies and ensure compliance with process standards.
• Technical & Analytical: Strong problem-solving, process analysis, and documentation skills.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, prioritization, and ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ways of Working: Structured, risk-aware, and detail-oriented with sound judgment in decision-making.

Where:

Our client has a strong preference for candidates located in Dallas, Texas. The Business Analyst should have flexibility in their schedule to meet deadlines and work effectively with teams across multiple global time zones.

How Much:

This company offers a highly competitive total compensation package! Base salary commensurate with level of skills, experience, and education, likely in the range of $95,000-$120,000. The overall compensation package includes an annual performance-based bonus, an attractive long-term incentive plan, professional development support and health benefits.
