Nursing Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nursing Assistant to join the healthcare team of one of our clients. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist nursing staff, and support the overall well-being of patients in a fast-paced medical environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency with computer operations and medical terminology. Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in English and French, are highly encouraged to apply. The Nursing Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort and safety while supporting the clinical team with various administrative and caregiving duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
• Administer medications as directed by licensed nurses, ensuring proper documentation
• Maintain accurate patient records using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide exceptional customer service
• Support nursing staff in preparing treatment areas and managing medical supplies
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols at all times
• Document patient care activities accurately using appropriate medical terminology
• Assist in organizing patient schedules and managing time efficiently to meet care deadlines
