We are currently looking for a Licensed Architect / Senior Technical Lead to join our Buildings Group (C2 Architecture Inc) in the Mississauga office operating within a hybrid model. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to advance your career while working collaboratively within a dynamic team. You will have the chance to lead and manage a wide range of projects across multiple sectors including transit commercial education healthcare and federal markets.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor the project team in preparing conceptual designs presentations design development and construction documents across various projects
• Oversee and integrate multi-disciplinary inputs into the design process working with specialists in areas such as traffic engineering transportation safety storm water management geotechnical engineering and environmental / ecology
• Assume the role of Project Manager controlling and managing resources budgets and schedules for multiple projects
• Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for clients ensuring effective communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist in managing and guiding the architectural staff fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• Prepare presentation materials and renderings for client meetings public consultations and design review processes
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and prepare materials for permit application packages to secure necessary approvals
• Provide contract administration and / or construction inspection services as required
• Support continuous professional development by participating in internal and external learning opportunities
• Represent the architectural team at project meetings sharing insights and leadership across all stages of design and implementation
• Contribute to the creation of written materials including proposals design briefs meeting reports and other documentation associated with the architectural design process
• Lead design development and review processes ensuring quality and alignment with client goals and project standards
• Mentor junior staff fostering growth and development within the team
• Conduct QA / QC of drawings and specifications ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements and standards
