Executive Suites Hotel & Resort, Squamish is seeking a Front Office Manager to join their team. The Front Office Manager is an integral part of the hotel and leads Guest Service and all aspects of the guest experience. The Front Office is the touch point for all departments within the hotel. The position offers a competitive base salary, an additional incentive program, and comprehensive medical benefits.

To directly supervise all front office personnel and ensures proper completion of all front office duties

  • Directs and coordinates the activities of the front desk, reservations and guest services.
  • Assisting in accounts payable / receivable and offer support to the Sales Team and the GM in any areas needed.
  • Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed and offers support to the front desk agents where needed.
  • Participate in meetings and / or events as required by the company
  • Ensure 100% guest satisfaction
  • Complete front desk work schedule as required making sure all shifts are covered.
  • Support company policy and management decisions, interpreting and passing such information to staff members
  • Demonstrate ability to work as a team player who communicates effectively at all levels with guests, associates and corporate representatives alike
  • Monitor interactions and provide feedback to the employee, recognize superior performance and address inadequate service levels
  • Responsible for motivating personnel so that they perform to the best of their abilities and setting an example by your own performance and enthusiasm
  • Ensure all guest complaints or problems are documented and the appropriate departments are immediately notified for resolving the situation
  • Assist in emergency situations
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily. Analyse rate variance, monitor credit reports and maintain close observation of daily house count
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
