Job descriptionConduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and lubrication on machines and equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Weld, repair, and fabricate equipment or machinery components Assemble and install machinery using hand and power tools Align and position machines and equipment using precision measuring tools Connect, test, and evaluate the mechanical operation of production equipment Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures Fabricate or dismantle parts, equipment, and machines using cutting torches or other tools Move and position heavy machinery using hoists, rollers, and lift trucks Build or repair machine foundations using appropriate tools and materials Maintain inventory and organize storage of parts, tools, and equipment 433A certificate is required Completion of post-secondary program in Millwright is preferred 3-5 years of experience as a millwright in an industrial environment required Proficient in welding, cutting, and fabricating metal components Experienced with fluid and air-powered systems, including maintenance and repair Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues Strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced industrial environments Capable of assembling, aligning, and installing heavy machinery and equipment
