Data Analyst :

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Data Analyst for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Data Analyst - Job Description :

The Data Analyst will leverage data to analyze, address, and improve the accuracy of financial transactions for resources supporting other segments of the bank. The project involves financial management using the Clarity system and aims to support business-as-usual operations within a leading financial institution.

Data Analyst - Responsibilities :

• Extract data from the financial book of record (Clarity)
• Assess data to confirm accuracy of financial transactions, identify discrepancies and causations
• Summarize findings and create a plan to address fixes within the financial reporting cycle
• Lead / co-ordinate with various stakeholders to ensure fixes are done properly
• Assess opportunities to improve and streamline the process in future reporting cycles
