Job descriptionDeliver warm, courteous customer service and handle inquiries professionally Operate the cash register and maintain accurate cash handling Stock shelves, merchandise products, and maintain displays Keep the store clean, organized, and tidy (light janitorial duties included) Follow store procedures related to security, shoplifting, lottery, and CBO tickets Monitor cash levels and request pickups when needed Assist with inventory maintenance and notify buyers of out-of-stock items Set up seasonal and promotional displays Handle difficult customer situations with tact and escape as required Sort, batch, and process incoming and outgoing mail accurately and on time Assist customers with postal services, including MoneyGram transactions Weigh parcels, calculate postage, and ensure correct addressing and packaging Operate computer systems for transactions and data entry Remain productive between customer interactions Perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting, bending, and reaching Support the Front Store and Pharmacy Managers as needed Accurate cash handling with strong POS and computer skills Customer service or cashier experience preferred; retail experience is an asset Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance, including appropriate grooming and name tag Physically able to stand for long periods and perform lifting / bending tasks Availability for evenings and weekends Criminal Record Check required Comprehensive health and dental benefits Extended health care
Pharmasave #406 is looking for a Front Store Clerk / Postal Clerk to join our team in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, multitasking, and working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Schedule
- Full-time : 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts, primarily evenings and weekends
- Store Hours : Monday to Friday from 8 : 00 a.m. to 10 : 00 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 9 : 00 a.m. to 10 : 00 p.m.
