Pharmasave #406 is looking for a Front Store Clerk / Postal Clerk to join our team in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, multitasking, and working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Schedule
- Full-time : 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts, primarily evenings and weekends
- Store Hours : Monday to Friday from 8 : 00 a.m. to 10 : 00 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 9 : 00 a.m. to 10 : 00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver warm, courteous customer service and handle inquiries professionallyOperate the cash register and maintain accurate cash handlingStock shelves, merchandise products, and maintain displaysKeep the store clean, organized, and tidy (light janitorial duties included)Follow store procedures related to security, shoplifting, lottery, and CBO ticketsMonitor cash levels and request pickups when neededAssist with inventory maintenance and notify buyers of out-of-stock itemsSet up seasonal and promotional displaysHandle difficult customer situations with tact and escape as requiredSort, batch, and process incoming and outgoing mail accurately and on timeAssist customers with postal services, including MoneyGram transactionsWeigh parcels, calculate postage, and ensure correct addressing and packagingOperate computer systems for transactions and data entryRemain productive between customer interactionsPerform physical tasks such as standing, lifting, bending, and reachingSupport the Front Store and Pharmacy Managers as neededQualifications
Accurate cash handling with strong POS and computer skillsCustomer service or cashier experience preferred; retail experience is an assetStrong communication and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environmentProfessional appearance, including appropriate grooming and name tagPhysically able to stand for long periods and perform lifting / bending tasksAvailability for evenings and weekendsCriminal Record Check requiredComprehensive health and dental benefitsExtended health careCandidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
