Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
2 to 3 years of experience in civil engineering technology
Certification by a provincial or territorial association (civil engineering technology (CVT) or NACE accreditation)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Autodesk Revit
Operating GPS and navigation equipment

Responsibilities

Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings

Participate in field surveys, inspections, or technical investigations

Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations and testing of construction materials

Provide consultation services to government and other organizations
