Our client is focused on building an exceptional gaming and marketing platform that establishes new industry benchmarks. They are looking for a dedicated Sports Trader to join their team in downtown Toronto . In this role, you will compile odds and manage risk while trading live events with a strong emphasis on US sports markets.
As a Sports Trader, you will be involved in :
- Compiling pre‑game and in‑play odds across major US sports, including NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and NCAA Football & Basketball.
- Managing live betting events, adjusting lines and markets in real time based on gameplay and momentum shifts.
- Monitoring market movements and implementing risk management strategies to ensure profitability.
- Utilizing automated trading systems to maintain accuracy and responsiveness.
- Collaborating with team members to provide input on product development for the North American betting audience.
To excel in this position, you should have proven experience as a Sportsbook Trader or Odds Compiler, along with a strong grasp of North American betting culture. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure are essential.

Reporting to the Sports Centre Manager, the Sports Centre Programmer is a customer‑service oriented individual responsible for the scheduling and promoting of all activity spaces, meeting rooms, and events in the Strathmore Motor Products Sports Centre.
The Sports Centre Programmer contributes to the operations of a multi‑purpose facility by scheduling and coordinating daily operations of the facility, including athletic spaces, gymnasiums, athletic fields, and meeting rooms. The Programmer ensures facility booking details are managed efficiently and in accordance with facility procedures.
In addition to taking a lead role in developing Sports Centre programs, the Programmer serves as a main point of contact for user groups of the facility, and may also provide support with the scheduling and coordinating of other Town of Strathmore athletic and community facilities.

A degree or diploma in Sports Management, Facilities Management, Athletics or Business Administration, or related field.Two to three years of work experience in field or equivalent experience in related field.Current group fitness certification in good standing with Canfit Pro or AFLCA or equivalent would be considered an asset.Working knowledge of recreation scheduling software (Xplor Recreation) is preferred.In the interview we will be looking for the following competencies :

Director of Sports – Club Sports Belvédère, Val d'Or
Responsibilities
Oversee the operation of the golf shop and backroom (product purchases / sales, inventory management, equipment rental, practice range, bag storage, locker management, etc.).In collaboration with senior management, plan staffing needs and recruit the necessary personnel.Manage employee schedules to optimize the use of facilities and customer satisfaction.In collaboration with senior management, evaluate the skill level and performance of staff under your responsibility, provide them with feedback, training, and encouragement necessary for the performance of their duties.Ensure harmony within your team and manage conflicts.Ensure the safety of employees and users.Greet members and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.Meet regularly with customers, inquire about their level of satisfaction with activities, and propose procedures to ensure their overall satisfaction, implement them, and follow up on them once approved.Represent the brand image of Club Sports Belvédère.Teaching and development
Offer private and group golf lessons at all levels.Organize junior clinics and programs.Act as a mentor for young golfers and assistant staff.Tournaments and events
Oversee reservation systems, training programs (juniors, first swings, golf lessons, etc.) and the organization of golf tournaments.Collaborate with committees (golf, turf and curling).Ensure compliance with golf rules and ethics of play on the course.Administration
Work closely with senior management to prepare operating budgets for your sector.Manage and monitor your sector's budget and ensure compliance with established parameters.Produce performance reports and recommendations for improvement.Ensure compliance with club policies and Golf Québec / Canada and Curling Québec / Canada standards.Coordinate between your sector and other sectors in collaboration with other departments (catering, grounds, finance, etc.).Qualifications
Have good general management and customer service skills and understand the principles of solid financial management.Demonstrate the ability to manage time and stress.Possess a sense of planning and organization of human, financial, and material resources.Be able to work as part of a team (both with other department heads and with members of their team) and effectively communicate the vision, objectives, projects, and targeted results.Be familiar with problem‑solving techniques.Possess good analytical skills.Have a general understanding of golf club operations.Be highly available.Be a member in good standing of the Professional Golfers' Association of Canada (PGA of Canada) or in the process of becoming one.Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.Knowledge of club management software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Chronogolf, LIghtspeed).Bilingualism (French essential, English an asset).Compensation
