Duties
- Perform in-patient and out-patient neurodiagnostic tests including EEG
- Maintain accurate records of tests performed
- Assist with statistical data and quality assurance
- Ensure equipment is functioning properly and maintain adequate supplies
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize use of available resources
- Work in a manner that is in compliance with staff and patient / client safety practices, policies and procedures of The Royal
- Ensure a work environment that is conducive to The Royal’s Harassment-Free Workplace policy
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Current certification with the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists (CBRET) requiredUndergraduate degree in Health Sciences, or a related field is requiredMinimum of three (3) years recent practical experience in EEG is preferred.Current CPR certificationAbility to work independently as well as a member of a dynamic teamDemonstrated effective decision making skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills combined with excellent patient care skills and service excellence attitude is essentialStrong organizational skills combined with effective problem solving abilitiesEnglish level A- is mandatory in oral expression, oral comprehension, reading comprehension and written expression. Bilingual (French / English) is considered an asset.Salary Range : $35.77 to $48.78 per hour
